"The 'Way Back' Machine" is entirely copper-plated, and was the first completed in an intended three-piece series of metal enrobed shells.
This piece's early predecessors include a brushed nickel-plated "Harley Davidson" groomsman's egg (not shown); the ill-fated egg "Gearing Up" and the resin-&- gear-filled emu egg, "Birth of the Machine" (shown lower on this page)
