This simplified re-working of "A Delicate Note" served multiple functions:  "A Quick Note" allowed me additional practice on straight lines and spacing (much needed, and painstakingly exercised on 'Rhea Skills Test 1', 2 and 3', [shown below], while allowing ample strata-variation space for further exploration of dye handling.

Virtually an impromptu piece, "A Quick Note" was designed to fulfill my first residency (!!!) satisfyingly.  This was a one week "remote" residency at the start of the pandemic. This piece tested my ability to work with alacrity and quick efficiency, and was completed in a record 5 days!   No,  really,  I have the most annoying helmet-cam video of the whole thing!
